Obama is the shepherd I did not want.
He leadeth me beside the still factories.

He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,
I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with me.
He has anointed my income with taxes,
My expenses runneth over.
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.

Subject: Open Letter to Nixon on Healthcare

Dear Governor Nixon:

A federal healthcare takeover and mandate thrust upon us by President Obama, Senator Majority Leader Reid and Speaker Nancy Pelosi is on the brink of being passed into law despite the overwhelming public outcry opposing their efforts.  The legislation is convoluted and full of provisions that will raise the cost of living for most everyone in our state.  Up to this point you have chosen to remain silent on whether you support the efforts of your fellow Democrats in Congress.

Despite your silence Governors in other states sounded the alarm that this legislation will bankrupt their states.  Even fellow Democrat Governor Bredesen of our neighbor state Tennessee called this legislation the “mother of all unfunded mandates” and opposed the legislation.  Missouri’s share of the cost of an expanded Medicaid program would be as high as $450 million per year.  The Medicaid program already requires more than $100 million per year in new funding for natural caseload growth.

Some argue this federal takeover is an infringement on state rights and unconstitutional.  Regardless of this issue, unless you cut funding to education, Missouri simply does not have the money to afford President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi’s social experiment.  Governor, you know the legislation being forced through by your Democrat Party will bankrupt the state of Missouri and yet you say nothing.  The time has come for you to take a side on this issue.

Will you stand with me and speak out against the tax increases, healthcare takeover and mandates being proposed by the federal government?  Or will you abdicate your position to the powers of your fellow Democrats President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.  Missouri deserves an answer.

WW II Battleship sailor tells Obama to shape up or ship out

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii

for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes

all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,

he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.

He dictated this letter  to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year.  People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate.  Now I live in a “rest home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor, allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish

I can’t figure out what country you are the president of.

You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:

” We’re no longer a Christian nation” ” America is arrogant” – (Your wife even announced to the world,”America is mean- spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our

war dead buried all over the globe who  died for no other reason than to free a  whole lot of strangers from tyranny and  hopelessness.)

I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you.  To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said,” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.”

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British?  Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War?  I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination.  You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American.  If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue.  You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight?  You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing.  I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief now, son.  Do your job.  When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him.  But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out.  The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.

You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy.  That’s not our greatest threat.  Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.

And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

We have been so busy listening to Pelosi call the CIA liars; Americans Nazi and un-American; trying to shove the crap Health Care Sandwich down our throats, we may have forgotten how much of our money she spends on herself!!

Newt Gingrich, a Republican, served in the House from Georgia from 1978 and as House Minority Whip in 1989.  He was Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1999. During that time he never made use of military aircraft.

Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from California, current Speaker of the House.  The Pentagon provides the House speaker with an Air Force plane large enough to accommodate her staff, family, supporters, and members of the California delegation when she travels around the country.  But, Pelosi wanted routine access to a larger plane.  It includes 42 business class seats, a fully-enclosed state room, an entertainment center, a private bed, state-of-the-art communications system, and a crew of 16.  Pelosi wanted “carte blanche for an aircraft any time,” including weekend trips home to San Francisco. Pretty nice but very expensive perk!  Her Air Force C-32 costs approximatel y $15,000 an hour or approx imately $300,000 per trip home.

And she has the guts to confront the Big Three CEOs for flying their corporate jets to Washington!  YOU WOULD THINK SHE, ALONG WITH A HUSBAND WORTH AN ESTIMATED BILLION DOLLARS, WOULD LEASE OR BUY AND FLY THEIR OWN PLANE, OR FLY FIRST CLASS ON COMMERCIAL AIRLINES LIKE OTHER RICH PEOPLE. NANCY PELOSI FACTS:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s home district includes San Francisco.  Star-Kist Tuna’s headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi’s home district.  Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi.  Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan workforce.

Paul Pelosi, Nancy ’s husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.  In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage.  This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition’s.

When the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an ‘economic development credit in American Samoa.’

Pelosi has called the Bush Administration “CORRUPT” !!

You know this, and that’s why since OFA launched its health reform campaign in June you’ve hosted 11,000 events in more than 2,500 towns in every single state and every single congressional district…I am absolutely confident that we can get this done, but I want everybody to remember, this has never been easy….We are not going to give up now. We are going to get this done.

Now it’s up to us to take the next step. This week, we need to make sure every member of Congress heads back to Washington hearing overwhelming support for change. Lies and fear must not have the last word about the health reform America so desperately needs. So here’s what you can do: Find and attend a “Let’s Get It Done: Health Insurance Reform Now” event near you.

There are thousands of events, in every part of the country. In some places, we’re rallying near local congressional offices to deliver signatures of support from voters. Get involved, call Congress, go to congressional forums, participate in tea parties.

Health Care is just one of many things our government is pushing so they will have more and more control of our lives and our money. Obama and company are destroying our economy, putting more and more people out of work, hoping to make people more dependent on Government.  We are losing our freedom every day.  Stay alert because they are throwing everything at us, keeping us distracted, calling us the MOB because we don’t agree with their takeover.

I want my children and your children to have the same opportunities in life that I and my parents had.

In regard to health care, please don’t be fooled by the ol “competition” argument. Private business cannot compete with government.  Econ 101. Plus the Obama administration has clearly indicated this is just the first step to get to ‘Universal Health Care’.  Then it is all about cost benefit analysis.  The old, the sick, those needing treatment deemed too expensive; they will be denied treatment.  The old will be given pain pills to “die with dignity”.  Obama said as much.

Yes, health care needs to be looked at, just not taken over by the federal government.

I shutter to think what would happen to my parents, my in-laws under Universal health care.  They would not treat my Mom and Dad, maybe not my husband based on his past health issues, they would be left to die. Very scary stuff when the government decides who gets and who doesn’t.  Plus Congress and Prez are excluding themselves from the bill.  Good enough for us not for them.

The Health Care Bill is the biggest attempt ever to take our freedom.  We must stand strong, make sure our representatives know who they work for, and in 2010 we must clean house.

$787billion stimulus that paid off their supporters
Passed a $400billion budget bill
House voted to pass Cap & Trade expected to raise utilities by 400%
Health Care Bill
Has already increased the deficit by $1 trillion
